“My work is shaped by nature’s rhythms - its patience and quiet resilience”
My work is an invitation to return to nature through paint.
Since early childhood, I have painted nature and landscapes. Throughout that time, nature has remained my teacher and healer.
I paint to remember. To remember those moments when dawn arrives or the day sets, the crunch of frost underfoot, the scent of the morning dew on the ground, the sound of water gently lapping against the banks, or the echo of birdsong through dense pine forest. These fleeting encounters shape my sense of belonging within the landscape.
My practice emerges from a quiet sustained dialog with the natural world. Through slow, intuitive layering of colour texture and light, guided as much by feeling as by form, I return to the essence of calm. I am reminded that we are nature, here to experience each beautiful unfolding moment.
Through my paintings I offer a space for pause and reflection, an invitation for you too, to connect with the rhythms and wonder of the natural world.
If you’d like to step a little further into my world, you are warmly invited to visit my Studio Journal, Nature’s Open Arms. There you will find reflections from my creative practice, quiet moments in nature, and the stories behind my paintings.
